While you sort this out, get yourself some smoke alarms. Also get the local fire brigade round to do a safety check, they can advise you how to prevent a fire in the first place.0

Had planning regs and safety around this morning from local council.
Loft conversion is illegal for habitable area.
Therefore 2 bed now a one bedroom flat.
The planning gut is writing to landlord and letting agent to advise them of his findings.
Where do I stand on living there now I. E. I guess I can be asked to move out etc but I don't have enough money to put another deposit down before the return of the present one.0 -
