MBS Account spyware/adware on my laptop!

My neighbour was hit by this scam and paid the bill presuming her son had downlaoded something as she knows nothing about computers, he denies any knowledge and I am inclined to beleive him. I am now trying to remove it from her computer ( I will try the steps mentioned above) but does anybody know if she can get her money back. It was £79.98 as she kept ignoring the bill untill someone read the FAQs and said she would have to pay the bill to get rid of the software.

I really want to help as she her husband and daughter are all disabled and £79.98 is alot of money to throw away.

Probably best getting them to ask consumer direct for advice. Considering the nature of how these people get money I suspect it will involve a small claims court case. Don't know if anyone's actually gone through with one of those for this company yet. Not sure if anyone has actually got their money back by asking for it either.
