MBS Account spyware/adware on my laptop!

    Big Thanks to everyone who's posted, especially to Alfonso.
    I followed the instructions using the Brute Force Uninstaller and I've just booted up in normal mode and so far no pop ups BUT the shortcut for MBS account manager is still on the desktop. Can I just delete this now or does it mean that MBS is still on here?

    Laptop started up fine again this morning with no pop ups and it seems much faster too. I'm really pleased. :j

    A friend got this on their PC and has been panicking about it and where to place the Blame, I was adamant that it would have been innocent.

    This will give her peace of mind knowing alot more ppl have been hit by this.

    Been trying to remove this for my housemate on his laptop. Thanks to the link that Alfonso posted. Will try and do it when I can get onto his laptop again.
