I'd check your file as they only check public data, you might have a CCJ.0

That sounds like it could be a lie.0 -
How could I have a CCJ if I've never had a loan before?
All I've had is an Argos Card :SRead my diaryHere

ask them for the copy, bet they didn't do oneDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Difficult to understand why they are rejecting you (on a joint basis) but accepting your husband by himself. As actually reduces their surety. Defies logic.I'm on the electrol roll as I voted in the last election.
And prior? If there's a gap in your history then this would reduce the "score" given.0 -

Prior I was on too, my dad registered me when I lived at home and then when I moved out I registed myself.
I did think this morning though could it be that I recently got married so all credit and bills I've previously paid would be in maiden name?Read my diaryHere

That makes sense as an identify check score rather than credit score, particularly given your change of name.chocolatelover93 wrote: »When I spoke to them they said that I didn't "score enough" to pass the check.
One reason you should use credit is that credit cards are the safest method of payment there is, with the law protecting you against almost all risk, much safer than debit cards or cheques. So says Frank W. Abagnale, a senior person with the FBI's fraud team who made his name initially as a fraudster and who refused to provide his children with debit cards or use them himself, using credit cards instead.0 -
Up front fees are why letting agents all have nice cars and go on holiday to nice places."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

Nah, I just think you maybe got a prejudice letting agent there, (sometimes for good reason) mind you the next tenant in after me shall very likely have these terms...
"Annual income 2.5 times annual rent OR a Guarantor annual income 3 times annual rent"
