Again, email to chief executive and a phone call came within two hours. Went to the store and the chief executive had personally emailed the store manager. He showed me the email on his tablet.
You seem to have a slight misunderstanding of how these things actually work, it's highly unlikely the CEO of Curry's personally emailed the store manager in order to resolve your issue, their time is far to valuable to do such things.
The closer you get to the CEO, if things are as they should be, the more competent the staff will be, you probably did receive a response from his office, but that response came from someone employed specifically to deal with such issues0 -
From a personal perspective, I recently had an issue with Sky that had dragged on for weeks.
I emailed their chief executive and had a phone call half an hour later.
Equally I had an issue with Curry's honouring a voucher. Again, email to chief executive and a phone call came within two hours. Went to the store and the chief executive had personally emailed the store manager. He showed me the email on his tablet.
I do carry this tenacious attitude into my work also.
Anyway, to all those who doubt this is true, maybe you just aren't going about things correctly in order to get the results you want.
I'm always here and happy to assist you though.
Oh give over...0 -

Totally wrong but you have made yourself sound totally right, I used to work for Dixons and quite closely to Sir Stanley Kalms/Mark Souhami and they definately used to do this!0 -

Really, you claim that I'm totally wrong about this, so they personally responded and dealt with all customer complaints sent to themselves
Unless they have access to some sort of time travel device I don't see how there are enough hours in the day :whistle:0 -

You seem to be misunderstood. The CEO of Curry's DID email the store directly. With the Sky issue the email to the CEO went to the executive office and they called me.
I understand with some companies that emails to chief execs don't always go directly to them and end up with underlings, but in my experience some correspondence does get to them personally.
Regarding this issue with the dog, the chief executive of Bromford actually called and emailed my client earlier today. This was her email:
Dear Mr xxxx, thanks for drawing this to my attention and stimulating a useful debate here about the issues. I understand your housing officer has now been back in touch with you and that we have reached agreement. I do hope your new dog will be a great friend to you and I wish you the very best for the future
I think that's a lovely touch.
Some of you guys are SO cynical.
You CAN get through to chief execs of some companies if you try hard enough. If you're not getting the same results, you're not trying hard enough.
Sure, they obviously DON'T spend all their time contacting the public... nobody is saying that. But sometimes they DO contact customers directly.
My client is ecstatic today... and why not?
It's such a shame most of you doubt the authenticity of this and can't just say "Well done."
You bunch of curmudgeons.0 -

DTDfanBoy hasn't said they responded to all customer complaints sent to them... just that they used to do it sometimes.0 -

In the very unlikely case that this is true, I can only say I feel sorry for the animal. You are blind to the realities of owning a dog, and have swept aside all the valid concerns raised.
Do let us know in six months time when it all ends in tears0 -

I refer you to my earlier answer...0 -
So if this is true (hmm) what about the allergy issue and the concern I raised about choice of breed?0
