Where to hire a van?

Hi all,
Hopefully moving at the end of the month. Looking to get a van.
Best i've found so far is from Jollygoodvanhire (never heard of them before), £79 for a LWB van with high roof. Only need it for 1 day as everything will be boxed up and ready to go.
I've tried a few places but struggling to find anywhere that will do a van for a day. I'm based in Warwickshire. Don't mind early pick up and late drop off.
Does anyone know of any sites?
My friend does have a big van but apparently it used to be used for asbestos removal so bit wary of using this. Would just be worrying constantly so sub £100 worth it to not use it.
Thanks

Why not hire a man with a van for a day? Will cost you more, but far more flexible, they come to you, no need to fill it back up with duel, and you wont have to worry about knocking it.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

There's quite a good deal on enterprise at the minute of you're going to have it back by Thursday afternoon. £20 a day.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?0 -
Depending on your age check your licence covers you to drive the size of van you hire...
( Yes i made that mistake! :embarasse )0 -
As well as age restrictions - at your age you will be fine - it's when you passed your test which dictates what size van/vehicle you can drive.0

We have used Enterprise. We were able to drop the van off at a different location to where we picked it up from also.0

I just hired a Luton van with tail lift (can drive on standard licence as 3.5T) from Farnborough van and truck hire. They have a few offices around... I paid £84 for 24 hour rental, collected Saturday at 8am and dropped back on Sunday. Definitely recommend them if you're close to one of their offices.0

I've used Thrifty in the past and never had any problems. It's not worth doing streetvan unless you already have access to an account and are doing it in 2-3hrs max0

Before you hire I think you have to somehow register your driving licence and get a special unique number. You have to do it a few days before. I think it's the Share my Driver Record website. Not entirely sure, so please check first.I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:0
