Virgin Media - Movies

Is anyone else having problems accessing the Movie channels that require a Pin. It tells you on screen to press the red button to enter your pin. But when i do press the red button, i just get a loading message on the bottom of the screen and it locks my V+ Box.

I rang 150 from my home phone and got through to their totally useless Customer Service dept. I really could not understand him and i dont think he could understand me. If i said one word different to the script he had in front of him, it totally threw him and he did not know what to do!!! Another issue was V+ recorded programmes unwatchable due to picture/sound distortions.

If only i did not have to have BT phone for broadband through sky i would move quicker than i have ever done before.

TV - loads of interference in picture. V+ recorded programmes have that much interference that they are not watchable.
Broadband - Extremely slow

I know NTL were not brilliant before but VM make them look like the best customer service dept in the world. VM are going a long way to losing custom i think.:mad:

    strange, my v+ is fine, my broadband very fast and picture quality top notch.
    i wonder if theres something wrong with your installation.
    get in touch with customer care again and explain clearly that your having problems they should book an engineer for you then.
    dont forget if you have sky that after 12 months if your installation goes wonky you have to foot the bill whereas as long as its virgins fault they pay the bill.

    We had this problem from when we moved house on 9th june and had a V+ box fitted, first of all the movie pics would be distorted or just pause and then we got the box exchanged and we could only get as far as entering the pin number but it wouldnt let us watch any films ( and yes we had the correct pin) so we complained again and the guy ordered a complete wire repull which made it even worse as we couldnt even get as far as entering the pin. The whole way through we had bad customer service, never had our calls returned, no one else would touch the account either until one day we managed to get a lovely young chap who credited us over £100 for not having had what we were paying for and said to keep the movies until the 19th of this month as they were rolling out new software for the V+ boxes so you could pause movies etc and this would sort our problem out too. But alas it never happened, I had had enough as am 8 months pregnant and didnt need the stress so I have just cancelled the film channels now, which is a shame but got so stressed about it all and spent endless hours on the phone trying to sort it out. Apparantly though it is the area we live in as one of the engineers who visited us said that nearly all of his call outs in our area were for the same problem but Virgin havce denied any knowledge of this. Oh well they miss out on my hard earned cash.
