Hellooooo!
Sorry I didn't update my diary straight away, but I wanted to catch up with what's been happening while I've been away, and then of course there was 'Black Friday' when MSE disappeared and has only just come back!
Anyway, we have had a lovely holiday, we stayed within budget, and despite catching nasty colds, we all really enjoyed ourselves.
We met up with BunnyInTheLights, her hubby (hunky fireman), and her two lovely kids, and had a day with them at Greenwood Forest Park, which is an eco-friendly theme park. If you are anywhere nearby, it is well worth going, the children had a brilliant time, and Bunny is just how you would imagine her - funny, feisty, friendly and has THE most infectious laugh I have ever heard!
Right, off to tackle the waking nightmare which is my internet banking.....back soon (will probably be sobbing!)."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Well, it wasn't pretty, we have £72 in our shopping account  which is to last 3 weeks, although we do have £50 in Asda vouchers, so £122 in total, which isn't too bad (although we need to buy some Xmas food out of that - a turkey big enough for 8 people for a start!).
Petrol is now paid for by credit card though (Asda card so cheaper petrol, and repaid in full each month), last month's credit card bill has already been cleared, and next month's shopping money will have gone in before the next bill comes in, so we don't need to allow for any more petrol this month.
I've just been working out 'the plan' for staying off work until April too, so will type it up and make sure no-one can spot any gaping errors in it before I relax!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Okay....the 'Grand Plan'....:D
Income November - December:
SMP - £400
Child Benefit - £120
Tax Credits - £120
Total £640
Income February - March (SMP will have finished):
Child Benefit - £120
Tax Credits - £120
Total £240
Total Outgoings from my account - £752
So.....monthly shortfall is £112 in Nov/Dec/Jan, and £512 in Feb/Mar, and TOTAL SHORTFALL = £1360
So that's the situation - bear with me while I cobble together a solution...:rotfl:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
