  • A Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nightime - is about a boy with aspergers syndrome aimed at the teenage/adult market and won many awards and huge acclaim! A small childs eye interpretation would be so cool, I can already picture Jungle Planet and the swordfish named Cheese! You're on to a winner Snaggles - go for it!!
Oh yes I remember that one, a friend lent it me last year. I was impressed by the determination in the young boy to find out about the dog and the way he made lists and the way he looked at the world.

Well, I can answer that, because his little 'other planet' theory isn't just an off-the-cuff comment, it has a fully fleshed out back story...

He used to live on a planet called 'Jungle Planet' where he was a shark, and his best friend was a swordfish called Cheese, but the planet was destroyed, and he was brought to earth and placed with us so that we could take care of him.

He describes it so vividly that sometimes I wonder if it could possibly be true. And this is from a boy who often struggles with imagination and creativity!

you could be on to something here ....

True, but in all honesty i find that people are very much alike on here with all the general interest threads and the obsessive way we are on here. if someone had told me a year ago i would be hi jacking threads and baring my soul- telling all about my hobbies etc i would have laughed. Hope snaggs doesn't mind.
