Tig, we need EVERYTHING doing in our bathroom - new suite, taps etc, tiles, flooring, accessories, lights....even the skirting boards needs replacing. My Dad might help us fit it, but I don't know whether I want to ask him to really. They're always so busy, and he frets so much over every little tiny thing that it's really stressful. I know someone who would do all the fitting, tiling etc, but I think it would cost quite a bit, so I'm just trying not to think about it! :rotfl:

Thanks Lunar - I'll let you know when I hear anything from her. I hope your morning sickness calms down soon.

    I understand hun :D

BTW ~ give my little cricketeer a HUGE hug from me and tell him I think his planet reasoning is the fabbest thing I ever heard ~ but I wanna know what he would call his planet if he had the choice :D

NOW ANSWER MY PM :p<oh you did :o:o:o>

Well, I can answer that, because his little 'other planet' theory isn't just an off-the-cuff comment, it has a fully fleshed out back story...

He used to live on a planet called 'Jungle Planet' where he was a shark, and his best friend was a swordfish called Cheese, but the planet was destroyed, and he was brought to earth and placed with us so that we could take care of him.

He describes it so vividly that sometimes I wonder if it could possibly be true. And this is from a boy who often struggles with imagination and creativity!

He mentions it most days.... :o

He would LOVE to tell you all about it. Although you will need to make sure you can spare a couple of hours! :rotfl:

I'm thinking of writing a proper childrens story about it with him. :) If I can get him interested, it would be sooo cool!

  • You should write a book as it would help so many people understand Aspergers and Autism. There is a book from a dutch(?) woman, about her child which is used in schools- I don't know whether you have read it. but it's an interesting insight into her day.

  • A Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nightime - is about a boy with aspergers syndrome aimed at the teenage/adult market and won many awards and huge acclaim! A small childs eye interpretation would be so cool, I can already picture Jungle Planet and the swordfish named Cheese! You're on to a winner Snaggles - go for it!!
