Snaggles - quite a few peeps I know have had disasters with the discovery tree balls, and I think it was one of the BEST toys we ever got for ours. Anyway, email Vtech and they'll either tell you where you can get some more balls, or they send you them for free if they feel sorry enough for you :D Go for it....

    Sea xxxx
Oh my goodness, REALLY??? Thank you soooo much!! I was gutted but obviously didn't want to start accusing a 2 year old of theft! :rotfl:

One of the missing balls has now been found, so we have one and my friend has 3, so we only need one now. If I can buy a spare, I will be so happy! :T

I think it happens quite a lot!! We've had several desperate searches - particularly for the blue ball, which of course is the favourite as is the song one!

    Thing is El,
    He hasn't got the '!!!!!!'.
They were all perfectly formed proper BIG poos. (NICE!)
I think he was hording them because he didnt want to poo at the childminders yesterday...
Apparently, the one he did on DD's floor looked just like a Mr Whippy. Nicely formed, curled and peaked.

    Sorry TMI...

On a serious note Bun ~ watch that hording. Little legs used to do this to the point of making herself unwell.

She used to have a bit of a poo phobia and after she first did one on the potty (and we danced around it singing) once she spotted it she went mental. The potty had to be taken outside. She kinda went all *But I'm a Princess, how did THAT come out of me* :D

We struggled for about a year to sort that out so just be one step ahead of him :D

    Aaaaaand.....relax!

The new tax credit notification is here, and we DON'T owe them £600 at all. Thank goodness for that. So we will get our usual tax credit payment this month.

They also say they are going to pay us £280 a month from the end of April, but I know that wont be right, as I will be back at work by then so our income will be higher next tax year. We wont be entitled to anything but the basic rate, I'm sure.

But I will ring them again once the new tax year has started, otherwise I'm sure they will get confused again and tell me I owe them money (I'm sure that's what happened last time - I told them our income had increased from NOW, but they have got it down that we have been earning that amount for the last 12 months too (although the figures weren't right, even for that).

It hopefully means we will get our £40-odd a month though, which will mean our budget isn't quite as frightening as I thought.

I think once I go back to work, I will start a new thread and really start getting the last of this debt cleared, instead of just talking about biscuits all the time. :o

If we stick to budgets this year, and don't run the credit card up, we should be debt free by Xmas, and that would be lovely. Then next year we can get a few improvements done to our house, and maybe look at moving next summer/autumn.

    I keep changing my mind, don't I!

    Morning hunny!

Yes, Natasha was completely back to normal by the following morning, oddly! I thought she was going to be really ill, because of how high her temperature was, but it must have been a nasty but speedy virus. Thanks for asking. x

Not doing anything special for easter I don't think - I might make a roast dinner if the mood takes me :D and we will probably call and visit my niece, as I've bought her a Dora the Explorer t-shirt (instead of an easter egg, as she already gets loads). It's ever so cute and it was only £5 in Asda.

Not sure what to make for dinner tonight....I haven't made a meal plan for this week yet, so maybe I should do that today!

hiya snags glad everything is well with you.
i know what you mean about the last bit of debt stuff as i think when the 'bill' type ones have gone you get a false sense of being debt free, if i'm making sense at all.
ive got an overdraft and a few other bits to pay for so i could do with pulling my socks up and getting em bleedin paid off!
but when its not 'urgent' i seem to be just plodding at the moment.
    have a nice weekend xx
