I have to confess I love blackcurrant sweets but hate liquorice ones (are we still friends?!). I think they should all be lined up, tortured and then slowly melted in the scorching sun for being so vile!!

When I was [strike]16[/strike] 18 and went to the pub for the first time, I confidently strode up to the bar and said 'I'll have a red witch please' (there was a row of cards above the bar advertising cocktails) and then nearly threw up when I tasted it and was told it was cider (yum), blackcurrant (yum) and pernod (:eek: ).

Absinthe..........green fairy.......:eek: I could tell you a tale about that stuff.......but it's far too early.......in fact, no, it's not ever a tale to re-count :eek: :rotfl: !!!
