Just spotted the postman - wonder if he will be bringing my lottery winnings? I'll have to walk up to the bank with the cheque though and I am sooo tired.

I did see this program a while back which said that our bodies have a 'predetermined weight' at which it will always aim to be, no matter what diet etc you do. So say if your determined weight is what you are now and you're dieting, your body is going to be putting all the effort it can into staying that weight by storing fat and burning muscle instead etc.
No idea if there's any truth in it but it's a great excuse if it is! :rotfl:
