Morning snaggles!!! and GLGLGLGLGL re the above!!!

I love the way you don't make a big deal at all about ryans swearing, I think people who shout and rant and rave about it make the children want to do it even more. sitting here now trying too imagine said beautiful string and am chuckling to myself in the process of doing so. Naughty me!

I've been reading it Elli - it's fab! It reminds me of something someone told me when Ryan was little, that I have always tried to remember - there will ALWAYS be washing up, dusting, ironing.....but you only have a very short amount of time with your children, so the housework can wait.

Everything else takes a back seat - even....gasp....MSE (noooooo, surely not!) although I do sit on the floor with Natasha playing on one side of me, and the laptop on the other side quite often.

Edit - I think my finger will be okay - the blister looks nasty, but the skin isn't broken so I don't think I need to see the nurse. I'll see how it is in a few hours though. Just can't believe I was so dozy!! :o

:rotfl: Well I think I just have a childish sense of humour, and random swearing makes me laugh! And at the end of the day, they are only words, aren't they? For some reason society has made them into 'naughty' words, but....well.....I like to encourage him to have a wide and colourful vocabulary!! :rotfl:

Awww, that poem is cute jacs.....careful, you're letting your soft side show again...;)

Not quite the same thing, but I've got a little picture that Ryan made at nursery, with his hand prints on, and next to it it says:

    'This is to remind you
When I have grown quite tall
That I once was very little
And my hands were very small'

I know it's a bit corny, but I love it, and it helps to remind me to never take these amazing years for granted, because they will be over all too quickly.

Ryan is already almost as tall as I am, mind you, so the poem isn't quite true for him any more!
