They still have to be seen to seriously consider your request. I Cant remember where the info is but they have to consider it, it must be documented. From your point of view although your hours are less and maybe not suited to the business you should think of the positive aspects of your employ and think of ways it could benefit the busniess.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. If they phone have a fob-off ready so not flustered and can make best decision in your own time.
