    You want a bit of space. You can't have space tonight, because he's already landed, so he's giving you want you want (space) as soon as he can - tomorrow.

    Obviously giving you space tomorrow means you can't talk tomorrow (otherwise it wouldn't be space), so he's giving you a talk as soon as he can - the day after tomorrow.

    Does that make sense?
