Late/delayed JSA Payment

Hi all who reads this...
OK, so I sign on every two weeks on Monday. The last one was Monday 7th. I went and signed on as usual, nothing different.
The benefits are usually in my bank early Thursday morning, I check my balance and it's there without a problem. THIS Thursday however, I have received nothing all day.
Annoyingly, I didn't check my balance until 5pm, so I thought the JCP was closed (turns out, they close at 6pm) otherwise I'd have called them sooner and got it all sorted sooner.
But yeah, at the moment I've not received anything. I haven't been sent a letter or anything, no warnings or such. Well, there was ONE difference this time round... the advisor I saw (wasn't the one the appointment was made for) was having issues with her computer so I couldn't use the e-sign thing, I had to manually sign.
Is there by any chance that someone who reads this also signed on the same day as me, and is having the same problem? I'll of course call them tomorrow, and this post is probably a little too late.. but I thought I'd mention something.
And that something is... any help out there?

I'd give it until tomorrow lunchtime, if of any help my last example of signing at the JCP+ only few months ago went like this
Signed Tuesday Received funds Thursday so only 2 working days
Then..
Signed Wednesday Received funds Monday - then more like 4 working days as it didn't show until end of day either, yep I was getting kinda edgy as well
What time did you sign as well? - I wonder if that makes a difference... hope you'll get sorted tomorrow, my money is on then x0 -
Cheers for leaving a reply.
Yeah, I'll give it till past lunchtime tomorrow... if still nothing I'll give them a call and hopefully I'll be able to sort it out.
And it kinda helps to know this does happen from time to time. It's only happened to me once. And yeah, you do get more than a little edgy when this happens.
As for the sign on time... it was actually 9:20am, so really quite early Monday morning. And thanks for the reassurance.. I also I'll get it sorted by tomorrow0 -
Please don't leave it until lunchtime, ring first thing. It sounds in all likelihood that your "evidence" you signed on Monday was missed so they will likely need to make a payment tomorrow. Make sure you insist that payment be made so that it goes into your bank the same day otherwise it will take another three working days. Speak to the benefit delivery office rather than the Jobcentre they will have to authorise the same day payment, you don't want any miscommunication between them and the Jobcentre."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0

In the likely hood I don't get around to calling them sooner than later, you say that they will likely need to make a payment tomorrow (Friday). Does that mean that they will eventually deposit the funds whether I call them or not?
I mean, I'll definitely call them since they seemingly made a mistake, but I just thought I'd ask in case I am unable to call them when I wish to.0 -
If you don't call them it's unlikely they will know that your payment has not gone in,, unless one of the banks has had a problem with their IT system. Make the effort and call them first thing on Friday if payment hasn't hit your account by then. Request a Same Day Benefit Payment to ensure that it does arrive in your account some time on Friday. DWP won't be able to tell you exactly when the payment will appear in your account as that is down to the issuing bank.0

No worries about that, I'll definitely call them tomorrow if there's nothing in my bank by the time I am awake.
I have several numbers available to me but I'm not quite sure which one will be the correct one. I live in the Northampton area, most of the numbers I see are like 0345. I've been given a "direct" number to my advisor, but not sure if that will work.0 -

0345 608 8545 option 2.
You can call your advisor as well, They can check if a payment has been released or check if the claim has anything against it stopping payments..... But they can't release payments it needs to be benefit delivery centre.0 -
Does anyone know the number of any benefit delivery centers? Either I'm blind, or they do not exist, but I can't seem to find any.
Are there location specific numbers, or do they all go to just one number?0 -

I think in most cases now the numbers are non-geographic 0345 numbers. Will any of the ones here fit the bill ?
For working age benefits

and for the pension service

If you read my previous post..... Claimants don't actually call the benefit delivery centre, if for what ever reason the JSA agent will schedule a call back from the BDC.
0345 608 8545 option 2 for JSA0
