Teddy Pull chord repair

Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know of a place that will fix teddy bear voice pull chords? Well the chord pulls, but no voice comes out. It's for an old Bugs Bunny Teddy from years ago. I want my daughter to have it but also have the fun of him talking to her. I live near to Liverpool but I can get intouch with repairers if they have a web site or number if they aren't local.
