And I still have a small bottle of Jura I got from As last year hidden away but I can't gift it as when I gave Mr TS his bottle we realised they still had the security tags securely attached inside the box.

I've got no badges....but I have found my OH's watch...
Some of you might remember it went missing about this time last year and at the time I was a little upset as it was the very first gift I bought him,and at the time 20 odd years ago it was probably an expensive purchase...
anyway it went missing and we turned the house upside down to no avail,we checked our rental flats as tenants moved out in case it had been left there and all the items we put in storage at about the same time....christmas came and went and we resigned to the fact the watch was gone...
until this evening....and its just turned up at the back of the clothes horse we have in the bedroom....sure we must have checked that at the time...but there it was
They say that sometimes things reappear...I think that saying is true today.
:T I agree - Things I've lost & mourned will suddenly reappear many years later :TTrulyMadly wrote: »Flea update:eek:
Our house has never been so clean. Everything is washed, twice washed and bleached/ scrubbed and triple hoovered.
Found no signs of anything
Visited our local pharmacy and asked if I could have a discrete word in his consulting room.
I showed him my bits and he said it's definitely fleas. I bought some anti histamines and it's taken the edge of the itching. See what tomorrow brings:)
Fourp flea bombed the bedroom today & we both have had extreme headaches - whether it is related I don't know but when he does the sitting room - I'll be nowhere nearOur Family Motto ~If all else fails - read the instructions...

Oh ILGDS It's a few years back . but even the thought of gall bladder pain sends me ape....! hope you get it sorted soon.

They are pretty stupid creatures. Sucking our blood kills them, too rich or something.....but they probably don't know we aren't dogs or cats. You could have them on your clothing etc, in your bag....they get everywhere
Also if you have treated your house and got rid of the fleas, you might need to treat it again a couple of weeks later to destroy any eggs that might not have been destroyed and subsequently hatch and start the cycle all over again. I discovered that the hard wayI also found all the hoovering, bleaching and cleaning didn't get rid of them. The chemical route was the only one that worked.
I felt minging for weeks :rotfl:
I feel so relaxed tonight for the first time in days...anti histamines are the way forward:T
Still haven't seen sight of one yet.

That is very very strange indeed  so how the heck did I score so highly I wonder. I think these quiz things are fixed
Mr TS was diagnosed colour blind from a test at school. And he got the eagle eye perfect score too.
And we argue over colours as he never usually sees them the same as me. I got the perfect score too though. :rotfl:0 -

I paid good money (APG) for them I will have you know. Actually I think I didn't take them back because the 2p anchovies were on the same receipt and I got a few.0 -

ILGD hope you get sorted at hospital, another one to join the list of people undergoing hospital treatments. I don't suffer from Gall bladder issues but have heard it is very very painful. ((Hugs))) to you x
You lot talking of fleas  I feel itchy all over now. TM I hope you can find the source of this problem. It's strange having flea bites and yet no sign of fleas during your clean up. Could you be getting bitten at work do you think? There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -

I hate to say it but hoovering will slow things down but if it is fleas you won't have got them all, it is a never ending circle until you treat the house. First dose to kill them and second dose to kill the ones that hatch out after but too immature to breed that's when the cycle finally ends.0 -
Sending calming thoughts, chamomile, anti-histamines and anything else that can take the sodding itch away to those that need it. Says she with a line of 32 bites on her back!!::eek:0
