Ooh, I've got the funny badges too0

It is very frustrating that QC and others cannot get their act together with promotions such as this - making clearer they are for a limited time/limited number of people rather than claim before 31st October or whatever. I appreciate there are always limits somewhere along the line, but we are all grown ups and if we know this will act accordingly (okay, Shopit messed up when they implemented their limits, but they seem to have learned their lesson!).
Closed due to high demand? What did they think would happen? £12 transaction for £10 cashback ... even a novice web marketeer could probably have predicted that demand would be high ... now they have lots of unhappy members who are getting to their personal email at the weekend to catch up and find they have missed out (again!).
Rant over.

Totally agree  I had activated it but not made a purchase yet as it was valid until Oct 31, was keeping an eye out for a good offer, especially since TCB generally have a better rate.
If the valid till date had only been a couple of days I would have used it but thought I'd plenty of time. Poor show QuidcoLife is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

I wonder how many people have activated it, are going to make a £10 purchase in October but they won't find out it's been cancelled until they notice they didn't get the bonus and get in touch with Q in November/December/beyond....

Do you mean he couldn't activate it TM ?
I've activated mine and said spend the £10 before 31st Oct. Wonder if mine is not available now xx
He couldn't activate it so sent an email first thing this morning. I was certain it would be reinstated as there was nothing to say it needed immediate activation. Plus we had until end of the month to make a purchase. I would have thought if he'd had an email it would have been honoured
I activated mine but if I now go through the process again it says sorry blah blah blah......so I'm not sure if I've missed the boat too......can't see where to look to see if it's still validTo do is to be. Rousseau

I've got no badges....but I have found my OH's watch...
Some of you might remember it went missing about this time last year and at the time I was a little upset as it was the very first gift I bought him,and at the time 20 odd years ago it was probably an expensive purchase...
anyway it went missing and we turned the house upside down to no avail,we checked our rental flats as tenants moved out in case it had been left there and all the items we put in storage at about the same time....christmas came and went and we resigned to the fact the watch was gone...
until this evening....and its just turned up at the back of the clothes horse we have in the bedroom....sure we must have checked that at the time...but there it was
They say that sometimes things reappear...I think that saying is true today.
I remember:T

if you've activated but not made a £10+ purchase before 11am today then the ship has sailed (at least according to my livechat transcript)Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Quidco told me on livechat that they've pulled the £10 promo
"We are honouring this for people that have activated and made a purchase before the offer was closed at 11:00 on the 09/10/2015
We had to close the promotion due to high demand, unfortunately those that did not activate the bonus and make a purchase before the offer was closed will not be eligible"
So it would seem that even if you activated it, if you haven't actually made a purchase by this morning you can whistle for the £10.
What was the point in activating it then? They should have pulled it when X people activated, not when X people claimed it
At least I have one qualifying transaction on one account so I'm potentially £10 better off than I otherwise would be. I would just have felt better if I got a backup transaction done
