Dippy the Littlewoods group (incl Very) are notorious for doing this. It might be that someone, somewhere has decided you have too many accounts & have used vouchers too much. When you give them your postcode they can tell exactly how many accounts you have at that address, no matter whose name is on them.
I know I've misused their codes too - I've just been lucky!:o:D0 -
Be very carefull of buying anything from very and using a voucher against your price....YOU WILL BE CHARGED THE FULL PRICE when you call very different staff will give you different versions I ordered 2 items which came to £62.99 used a £40 very voucher i had.. you would think when i click pay £22.99 would be taken from my bank WRONG !!!!!! the whole £62.99 was taken and so far i have phoned very about this 3 times... first time i got told the £40 would be returned to my bank in 48 hours .....nope 2nd phone call got told 72 hours ... nope just now i got told 10 days.........
Very have awful CS and are/were part of the Littlewoods group. There was a glitch several years ago where a £25 code was published online and it soon did the rounds on the money saving sites. Orders were fulfilled but a few months later Littlewoods sent letters out saying they wanted the £25 as per their T&Cs. I've avoided them since.
Did you open a credit account by any chance? And was it one of those Groupon vouchers?
I'd email them rather than phone - that way you have something in black and white and can escalate appropriately if they don't keep to their words.:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member

Whooops indeed. :rotfl: Did you use the £10 off code wys £60 and buy a bottle of champagne?
They've had a few online glitches recently that haven't been instore. In my experience, they'll honour any online orders.
Could I come round to yours for a crisp party?:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member

Might be useful (even if we've seen price increases in the last three years) for getting up to 10 items - or even potentially four (tablets and caplets version of both) - own brand Paracetamol and Ibuprofen (16 per pack) are Tvs A. (Also potential Mvs A, but why would you be spending £15 and all for the sake of a 'few pence' difference?) Actually, :think:you're only allowed 2 packets per shop aren't you? And of course I don't wish to encourage any overdose - obviously for use sensibly - sorts of items that occasionally come in useful at some time.
And this, fwiw, is M (50p each) vs T in 3s:rotfl::
Cadbury Dairy Milk Oat Crunch (30g)
50p any 3 for £1.20
£1.67 / £1.33 / 100g Valid until 03/10/20150 -
