Broccoli still comparing against Morries at 50p from womble dated today (I sneaked into A on the way back):
1x ASDA Broccoli (335G) £0.49 £0.50
How they can pick up the old 50p stock when, at least in my M stores, they are new ones blatantly at 42p, I do not know! They are supposed to take the lowest price, according to their own rules, if they find stock with different prices on it; however I already knew that 'they never do' and I expected they'd probably pick up 50p:(. Fwiw, there is now no 50p stock in my stores (thankfully it has gone at last!) - so, it may be okay tomorrow afternoon or Friday whenever it updates from today's info. (Assuming they have no 50p stock in their stores, or that they even change it properly.)
This may be of interest though:
2x ASDA Spring Onions (EACH) £0.98 £0.90
(No need to buy two.)
In short, I think Broccoli might be okay to compare (then again, might not) once we've waited for Wednesday's info. to get updated into the system; but the Carrots now, potentially, have the same issue today as the Broccoli had on Monday, so I'd wait on the Carrots (bet they pick up 60p today:( (and therefore that goes in as 60p for M tomorrow/Friday) rather than 45p).0 -

I know. I come on here saying "Carrots are the highlight, may be very good" but then completely undermine it by saying "...but there is still a small amount of older stock in M with 60p price on it, so that they may pick up 60p price".:(:(:(
Sorry folks - that is the situation. I think that they will pick up 60p at the moment as they are still on Monday's pricing. I hope they get 45p today and that that updates into the system tomorrow. However, this is again one IMO to wait for wombles regarding. They may even miss it altogether:( if M goes back up to 60p next Monday.
To be fair, my second store had only the new 45p stock, whereas the Broccoli did have a bit of 50p stock (not as much though) in both on Monday. However, it's irrelevant as it depends what they have in their stores not mine. My own stores would suggest the Carrots may be more likely to pick up the new price than the Brocolli but we just don't know.
The 50p Broccoli is OOS in my M stores now, but that may not be the case absolutely everywhere. Hopefully it will now pick up 42p on the update from today's instore collections (whenever the update happens tomorrow or Friday). As for the Carrots, even after the update, maybe not yet...0 -
I am not going to refuse any unwanted subs at collection/delivery - last time they subbed my 10 strawberry udis with 10 apple ones(they only charged me £1 each but I refused them) but the £10 refund never came through even though the store chased the South African lot up twice. I haven't furthered it myself as, with their newfangled way of debiting and crediting, its not easy to explain whats gone amiss. The fact remains that, with a total left to pay on my collection note (after evoucher and multibuy deductions) of just under £13 I should have had a £10 refund for the refused udis leaving me a final cost of around £3. Instead of that I have paid £13 odd.
I'm going to let this one go but I suspect they have 'done' others as well and, to stop it happening again, I will accept whatever they give me and take it into the store for a refund at CS if I don't want the sub - then I am sure of getting it straight back on my card.
why mess about with subs and returns, its very simple to click NO SUBS then you dont have to mess about, after all you know they have none.0 -
