  • Just had a successful shop at waities.:)

I had an £8 off £40 spend voucher so compiled a shopping list last night and off I went. It was beginning to look disappointing as there weren't any half price crunchy nut cornflakes on the shelf and no Kleenex balm tissues, also half price. I asked a SA about the CNC and off she went to check, only to confirm that they weren't in stock. I was doing a self scan shop (to check when I got up to my £40) and she said that she was on the self scan tills and gave me a complimentary box of CNC (different size) that she would put through. "Anything else I can help you with" she asks, so I mention the balm tissue and duly given a complimentary box of Waities own balm tissues.

Now the glitchy bit (sorry if already posted). For those with My Waitrose cards. There are plenty of the 3 for £10 meat/fish in the Pick Your Own offers (which gives 20% off your picks). I had 2 Gammon in Pineapple and 1 Cajun chicken Individual price £4.19 each. Charged the £10 and given 20% off the £12.57 full price. So paid 7.48 for the 3. Whole chickens are in the offer and would again work out about £2.50 each.:T.

Lastly Fairy Platinum WUL 615ml is showing as £2 on line (brandmatch) but is in the 2 for £2 offer in store (I've seen it in 2 stores now). Empty shelves in my store:( unfortunately. I did take a photo of the SEL but I need to re-read the instructions on posting photos again. I will try to post later.

    Good afternoon all.

Apologies if this is old news but just received latest mailing from John Lewis....back to free drink and cake every month for the next five months.
