I just checked a womble dated yesterday and they bought
1x Cathedral City Mild Cheddar (350G)
    and it compared £2 A's vs £3 at T's
is that because they only bought one do we think?

    Morning Elite :hello:

I'm not saying good today as it isn't. Phoned about my order and spoke to a lovely lady she is following my order and going to speak to delivery person. She will then ring me back.

I had plans to go out today but in view of the above I'd better stay put. DH will be home later so he can keep guard whilst I pop out for 10 minutes down the road.

Cloudy here, very fitting for how I feel :rotfl: no wind, every where is so still, no plants or shrubs moving. The calm before the storm maybe ;)

Happy shopping to the folks heading out. Hugs to those in need :A

LS lovely to see you are home, I hope you had a restful night. I haven't read back yet so don't know if you've pisted today :)

    Very restful thank you. :)
Going down from 3 bags/tubes is great as I'm so much freer (although still having to sleep on the "wrong side" of bed due to them bringing my suprapubic catheter out my left side, and the tube on the night bag not being long enough to stretch it to hang off the right! :rotfl::rotfl:)

This morning I've managed to get downstairs easily, have brekkie, put some washing on, put the tumble dryer on, come upstairs and have a shower and am now resting.

I think I'll feel well enough to start tackling the mess my teenagers have left the kitchen in maybe tomorrow, and very slowly start getting a bit of order to the house. I'm not particularly house proud, but it's looking grim at the moment!

Gutted to be missing a cheese glitch, my fave food! :o
  • Good morning all.
    Hope everyone is ok.

Grotty morning here so far, no rain yet but it's defo on the way and it feels really chilly too.

SNAP-ANT___ thanks for the heads up on teskies clothes reductions. I spent 20 mins this morning scanning stuff and managed to get some bits for the boys to put away. Lots of things scanning at £1. X

OMG - we've had two humungous spiders in the last few days - or the same one twice. Defo DH 's job to remove

    .

I had to phone the hubby 2 nights ago to come and get an absolute mahoosive spider from the landing. I swear it was as big as my head.:eek:

    Very restful thank you. :)

Glad your home LS- take it easy on the housework though. I'm guessing you're supposed to be resting! X
Life is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.

  • On our recent trip to Spain we hired a small car from Avis (booked via BA) and opted to pay the fuel upfront. We were charged just over €40 for a full tank, which did not seem unreasonable and saves the hassle of having to find somewhere to fill up when you bring the car back.

There is a man in my bedroom fitting new skirting boards. The noise he is making is indescribable. I will be so pleased when this whole shenanigans is over and I have the house to myself again. Just the wardrobes to de done now but that's not until next month, when there will be another two days of mayhem. Sigh.

2 days would be sheer bliss - ours is now on day 5

I've just had to take tea, biscuits and headache tablets up to ours as he has given himself a headache with the banging and hammering ...

and now he has gone home sick ...

    cheese

interesting that if you put one of 4 different cheeses in your basket
the offer incomplete shows on them all. so its not mix and matching. (well on a.com at least).
