    In a word......yes.

That's funny as I just thought exactly the same thing when I saw the OP:rotfl::rotfl:.

But I think sometimes people have every right to become impatient:rotfl: (not that it does much good;):D:laugh:). (I'd be impatient after a few hours lol:rotfl: - even well under three hours is enough for me:laugh:!)

I knew Evangelines pic reminded me of somewhere....I've been thinking about it all morning....its not in a picturesque setting as such...as its at the top of a very busy hill but as a child who used to visit the area on holiday it always seemed quite a mystical place

Hi, not sure if I've done this right, but may help and good for a filler

    1x ASDA Grower's Selection Baking Potatoes (4PK) £1.00 £0.69

    Avt

It looks good more because A's price is so expensive. But even so these small packs seem to me quite expensive: 69p for just 4 potatoes:eek:! And £1 A and Sains (even 95p at Aldi!) - is that how much potatoes now cost? Price graph on msm (you'd never know about comp vs T on there btw) shows £1 as the highest price they have been, although they've often been 98p. They've been down to 87p though, and to 77p last year. 69p is better than that (but not sure if I saw 50p at one stage in Sains (of all places!) two or three years ago). I suspect loose Baking Potatoes aren't much better in price today than the 4 pack:( packs - about £1 per kg - how many potatoes do you get for that? I think 69p/70p pricing, even 60p, used to be fairly common (on the 4 packs) - it's only that prices have risen elsewhere that maybe the 69p is now an 'offer' price rather than being a fairly regular price of the past? I can't see T's Baking Potatoes (4) on t.com - seems to show some as unavailable (not sure if they are the right ones) - they may drop off the APG? But good to know that, as of yesterday now, they were comparing like this.:T

    Afternoon all.:D
Just been cheering mum up, as she is understandably very weepy.
I think I managed it as she left here with a smile. When she used to get cross and stroppy, D used to call her Sparky, and say 'watch out Sparky is out of the box'. Well I encouraged Sparky today:rotfl:

    My mystery box arrived today:beer:
    4 x Monopole Blue Top
    1 x Bella Cucina Prosecco
    1 x Dino prosecco
    1 x Elyssia Freixenet
    1 x Cesarini Sforza
    1 x Cordoniu Brut
    1 x Asti
    1 x Moet + Chandon Rose Imperial Champers :D:j
    1 x Lanson Black label Champers :D:j
Quite happy with that lot. Mil can have the sweet Asti, cos she loves it.
So sorry others are not happy with theirs.

Lovely roast pork dinner cooked by DS1 last evening. He was so proud to serve his home grown carrots, runner beans etc.

Glad to see LS is going home.:T:D

Just caught up. Off to make a couple of apple cakes now.

Ah, nearly forgot, a cruise pic as VT hasn't posted any more that I have found, and she's been away visiting.

Sorry my post last night (this morning) felt flat - I must have had a bad time with it being middle of the night. I often misjudge things. It's been taken on board (by me) and I'll try better.

Wondering if we think that two Turkeys would pick up mbuy or not - or whether it needs one Chicken to make one Turkey glitch (even though the Chickens, by themselves, pick up the mbuy).

    Mr T sells a 350g Heroes carton :(

As for the sweets - you bought 6. The multi was picked up on 3 non-aeros and the remaining 3 glitched because the aeros are on a separate multibuy

These shortchanges where they give you less and then do not compare against the product elsewhere as it's non-comparable because the weights are different. I'd take it back and buy from Mr T I would! (Presumably, it gives the impression to ordinary customers, assuming they check the price promises, that they are getting a good deal since prices are matched/bettered and refunded where they've paid more etc. Little do they know that their 323g carton cost them twice as much, instead of a larger 350g carton from elsewhere.):(

Morrisons had some cartons newly instore last week on "offers", but I do not know whether they would compare against there yet as may be too new in the store for them to do so. Anyway, with downsizing on packs (they used to be 400g) I'm not bothering with the prices on those. 98p or lower is my guide price:p:D:rotfl:. But - remember the Toblerones though at 75p for "almost the same amount" as these cartons nowadays? That's where I'd go. Chocolate is chocolate is chocolate:p. Those Toblerones in my house were, in theory, supposed to last until August next year and beyond - and were not supposed to have any of them yet - but I found they'd scoffed an entire pack all by themselves the other day. That's right - they'd had the whole lot of one pack. Not even just had half, which would have been adequate rather than excessive consumption and then perhaps have even left half of it to me. That should have lasted several days, not just a single day! I was not best pleased! These people - helping themselves! I shall have to hide them all away:D - they need their fingers tying back!:rotfl: It follows the Cadbury's Finger double pack that got consumed all at once (again, didn't get a look in on any of them), thus defeating the whole point of buying a larger pack when it was much cheaper by weight. May as well have been more expensive (it was, in actual pence, more expensive) as it lasted just the same length of time as a smaller pack!:(

Anyway, lost the point! Again:rotfl:. Shortchanged by buying a smaller pack that doesn't compare.
