Your early reading will have advised that popla administration is now with Ombudsman Services Ltd. They go 'live' on 14 September, with Appeal adjudication beginning 1 October.

Your 'parking events' pre-date 21 August, when the old system ceased.

You need to absorb how to register 5 intentions to appeal, then do so. Thus you obtain Umkomaas's 'verification codes'.

As yet, none of us know how, or if, the decision process or currently successful grounds, may differ. This actually gives you more time to prepare a skeleton appeal, ready for tweaking [x 5:-)].

    Apologies Umkomaas, cross-posted.

Hmmmm this has now left me a tad in the dark it seems

Although as you mentioned earlier ampersand theres plenty of time for me to draft up 5 skeleton appeals.....

So glad I looked on here before contacting them as I would have probably been down £250 right now so thank you all so far :):):)

Link below for the PCN. Guessing it's pretty standard stuff though

  • why 5 appeals ? do one and then copy it ,changing just the dates a ticket numbers , they will automatically deny them ,

post each one in a separate envelope , first class with free proof of postage from a post office , DO NOT name the driver anywhere in your letters

mark the enveloped discreetly with say the last 3 digits of the ticket pay separately and mark the ticket number down on each receipt ,

if you want to post a picci , upload to tinipics etc , then post the link , but alter the first section of the link , instead of http:// , write hXXp:// , someone will edit and post your link
  • Appeals all done so cheers for the help so far!

Will be interesting with the changes to POPLA what happens next...... For the time being I've bought myself some more time which is a nice relief :)
  • and cost them £135 + vat , when they reply with POPLa codes , or nothing if they drop the charges

don't forget that email to the DVLA , might cost them there access as well as some BPA bad boys badges as well

    chill now
