you wont get anywhere with nhbc, to be honest seen worse on barrattsDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

As far as I can see, you paid for a turfed lawn and that is what you got. If they made no other promises about any other aspect of it then I can't see what you can expect to hold them to.
Sorry OP but I don't think you are going to get far with this. Looks like you'll need to get saving to have something done to it yourself... could you put some sleepers in half way down the slope and then have two flat areas in a tiered formation....
Oh and if that lawn has been turfed then i'm shocked..... looks more like its been seeded to me with all those bare patches.... either that or it was turfed 9 months ago and has been left to fester since...A big believer in karma, you get what you give :A
If you find my posts useful, "pay it forward" and help someone else out, that's how places like MSE can be so successful.0 -
If that's dangerous for your kids, how do they deal with slopes in parks and out and about?0

Ok if you cant put a trampoline in the garden, how about zorbing?
Seriously, not to have regularly checked your plot before you exchanged was silly. If you had taken photos of a level plot at the time of exchange which materialized into the Hovis street, you may have a case.
i inspected my new home weekly so I knew exactly went in and asked questions when I spotted things.0 -
And it has been turfed.
it looks like about six bricks along for four courses down. 6x225mm=1350mm for 4x75mm=300mm, so 1 in 4.5, or about 15 degrees. Steep, but not 30deg.
I asked them several time I want to visit the house but they didn't respond and some times said I can't for safety reason.
Half of the garden is 1 brick down then from 2nd half 6 bricks0 -

The patio looks flat so why don't you just put your chair on that - afterall that's what patios are for.
I have one year kid and he just started to walk. what about if I want to put dining table, small swimming pool, BBQ & use the garden as normal people. I paid a lot for that house and bought it new not second hand0 -

Up until exchange of contracts you should have asked, in writing - and got a satisfactory reply, in writing. These documents could then have been used in evidence that you asked for it to be levelled and that they had agreed.
I did all of that in writing but I didn't get any answer also when I asked the conveyancer she didn't support me. I asked for all drawings for study from 1st day but I didn't get any thing.
Now is it worth to go to court0 -
Let me guess - you used the conveyancer "recommended" by the house builder?
All of these question marks - and still you went ahead with the purchase?0 -

Didn't the fact you were constantly getting fobbed off arouse your suspicions?0
