Is that the start of the queue I can see with some customers ready to hand over all that lovely money to get all the latest shiny toys from Apple (as they did last year and the year before)?

Multiple sources seem to imply the UK networks will announce the new iPhone tariffs tomorrow ahead of Saturday's preorders.
I'd imagine between now (and the 25th) you should start to see competitive prices for the iPhone 5c as existing stock is exhausted.
Because the iPhone 5s is now the "base entry" model I'd imagine it'll remain higher for a good while yet.
