I asked a similar question on this board and was advised to ignore Miah Solicitors.

Why ignore them when you can cause them so much aggro. Complain to the SRA that they are trying to charge you for legal work they claim they have performed for their clients.

The so called "contract" is decidedly iffy, they have not accounted for v.a.t., so it is probably a claim for damages for loss, but what loss. have the sustained, none. Beavis does not apply, there is no commercialjustification, they have no financial interest in the sire. They have not a leg to stand on .
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

Interesting, I have just received a letter from miah solicitors also asking me to pay £275.
I my moped on a large pavement in a bike area whilst I nipped to Boots, I thought this had died a death, it was only a week or so ago that I came on here to point out that UKCPS had dropped a court proceedings against me for another case of me parking in a free car park.
They are persistent these !!!!!! I have to say.
