You're doing much better than me Birdie. Was supposed to be in the office today but when the alarm went off I just couldn't face it. Have made it as far as emailing my boss. Am now sitting here in my pjs drinking tea. Haven't even made it to the table yet.

I am successfully doing nothing but sitting here so far today other than waiting for my psychiatrist to contact me. My mind is racing with many things I should be doing while I am awake to actually do them, I have a timeframe of only a few hours before the next nap. Therefore, I am not managing to do a thing other than searching the internet for Green Men, gargoyles and aliens. This is your fault, Melly!

I have managed to move to the table and think that might be the extent of my achievements for the day. Which is unfortunate as I have flipping loads to do.

Part of the reason for redecorating the bedroom (if I ever get to it) is so I can fit a table or desk in the other room. At the moment I have to use the dining room which is lovely in the summer with the doors open to the garden, but less lovely in the winter as it's cold in here!

CAUTION! serious nit-picking alert! STAND WELL BACK! ....................

They're not gargoyles, they're grotesques. Gargoyles are the ones with waterspouts coming out of their mouths, on the roofs of cathedrals and the like. Gargoyle is onomatopoeic for the noise of the rainwater coming out of the spout, like gurgle, gargle etc.
