.
I agree - if they cannot send you postage labels or arrange a courier to collect then I would refuse to post it back. They made the mistake by sending you two and you were only being honest by telling them.
I was happy to keep my dupe prize and have no regrets after telling the company:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
They have said they do not have pre paid labels, and that they are happy to pay and arrange collection of the snuggle sac, but they need a little help my end with the labels. Not sure what else to suggest to them0

They have replied saying they would refund the postage if I provide proof of postage. Am i wrong to be annoyed by that?
I'd be really annoyed by that! You've gone out of your way to be honest with them and return it when it was their error to start with, it's totally up to them to sort getting it back to them!0 -
I would tell them to collect it on DAY DATE TIME and not communicate with them any further.0

Yes! You could be working full time and have a family to tend to for all they know! You might not have time to wait in all day for couriers to collect or go to the post office! I bet the snugglesac is only worth £35? I would have expected the company to just let you keep it!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
They are worth £45. I haven't replied to them yet, still a bit meh about it all, seems a lot of hassle considering I was being honest0

There is a difference between unsolicited good and goods sent by mistakeCan I sell items delivered incorrectly to me?
Yes, but it's quite a process.
You must try to contact the company twice in writing, following a set procedure.
Even after you've sold the items, it'll be at least six years before you can spend the dosh. During that time the original owner can still claim the money back from you.0 -
I replied and they finally responded this morning.
They have asked for me to confirm a day, so they can post out a couriers label to me, and also confirm a safe place. I cannot confirm a safe place, I also cannot confirm a day I will be home, due to being a single parent and having children in school and nursery. Not sure what to reply. its all really stressing me out0 -
I wouldn't trouble yourself any further. Stash it away somewhere for a while, then give it to someone for Christmas, or eBay it! it's not right, but sometimes being honest is just such an awful lot of hard work!
If they weren't really prepared to help you send it back, they really should have just done the right thing and told you to keep it!0
