But care to explain why?
More so than nobody gives you a hard time over your illusionary "portfolio", Mmmmm, and to be honest much of the amazing life of your's which you go on about on here constantly while spending most of your life on here.
Now who is being illusionary? I check in here a few days a week for once or twice a day for a few mins, usually first thing in the morning and/or when I'm travelling into work or when I get in from work, although I'll be around for the next week or so more regularly, as I take breaks from marking students' coursework.
There isn't anything made up about my portfolio (or anything else), the mere fact that you think so, says more about you than me. When I mention my portfolio, there is a reason, either some fool has brought it up, and I am merely responding (like right now), or I am either trying to find out info from others (about investments like VC's, EIS's or SEIS's) or offering advice to someone else who wants feedback on their portfolio. Getting your portfolio correctly balanced is very important, if that isn't worth posting about, I don't know what is.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

I think Daniel meant to type "whining", rather than "winning"0 -

Someone hit the nail on the head in that thread.I think TCON has allowed his housing situation to make him demented. I have been attacked myself for thinking out loud about something that didn't fit perfectly into his narrow minded box. It is posters like him who are ruining this site.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -
From TCON:what is it the trolls hate about me?
are my strangely accurate predictions worrying you?

Apparently we're all panicking now the interest rates have gone up in the US. Would help if they didn't keep bumping up threads that are now years old and still wrong

That thread is vintage HPC ottiness. The OP posts a heresy - that BTL is going strong - and is instantly rounded on by the witchfinder-generals.
"Can I ask the OP what his motive is in posting this?" demands 65243 suspiciously.
"maybe he is worried that rising interest rates will destroy everything he's NEVER worked for," sneers envious crah troll Count of Northampton.
"how many BTLs did you say you own?" demands houseless renter sPinwheel angrily.
Stung, the OP asserts his bona fides in the only way that resonates on HPC:
"I rent and always have done... You'll see various posts I've made slagging off my landlord."
Laugh out loud stuff! Normal malice then resumes from the OP:
"I'm hoping it falls through...the friends selling the house are not of my choosing and I want to wipe the smile off their face." - a vintage HPC post in which he wishes ill on someone he envies and who are his friends but who he dislikes. And we know why - because the vendors paid £152k 6 years ago and have sold at £279k. 6 years ago, HPC and the OP were convinced that house was a bad buy because its price was sure to crash within months. 6 years on the OP's "friends", who ignored his view, have made an 83% gain out of ignoring him.
"it's a weird post the day everyone is discussing buy to let falling apart", TCON scolds him - essentially for being tactless enough to voice a heresy.
