Ugg Boots from £62 delivered

hi everyone,
just wondered if anybody else has been charged import duty on their uggs & if so how much? i bought a pair from oz a couple of years ago & made a cracking saving, also never got charged for import.
but having just received my 2nd pair a few weeks ago from oz again, i've just had a nice big bill for import from tnt who delivered them - for £37!
i knew to expect i might get a bill (obviously was hoping not to) but i had no idea it would be this much. i paid £118 inc. delivery for these uggs, + this £37 = £155, which now makes me feel like an idiot as with codes & cashback i prob could have got them a lot cheaper in the uk.
in the moneysaving guide it says be prepared for a bill of £20-£25, so how come i've been charged more? Does anyone know how the rate is calculated & if there is any way of not paying so much?
Thanks0 -
poonum, Uggs (the genuine branded product) are not Australian, nor made in Australia... I fear you may have been duped as well as charged duty.
However, to calculate taxes in future, use this excellent website: http://www.dutycalculator.com/0 -
I recently purchase a pair from The Uggstore they were priced at 125 au$ and when i went to checkout it was converted to 70£ plus about 20£ shipping etc etc. All in all 105£ on my bcredit card0

Hi all,
Just wondering if someone out there can help me. I stupidly bought some uggs online from uggs2011.com the offer seemed too good £65.99 for the Bailey ones so perfect got them...... HOWEVER i have not received an confirmation of order over email but i did receive an email saying welcome to our website you are now a VIP member.
Can someone help to see if they have just scammed me and i have now lost my money? I still don't know what i was thinking.
Thanks

Unfortunately I think you have been scammed, even if they do send you boots they will be fake.
2 general rules for buying ugg Australia boots
1 - the official ugg aus site is the only online retailer who can use the word ugg in the url (there is also a bit of the official site that lists authorised sellers.
2 - If the price seems to good to be true it most likely is
How did you pay for the boots?
If you paid by credit card/paypal can you claim off your credit card/open a dispute?0 -
Hi guys,
I was just wondering if anyone has used this website before?
comeonugg.info
They seem to be too cheap and you can only contact the company by an e-mail address. Plus they're not listed on the UGG website as official retailers.
Just wondering if anyone knows for definite? Thanks
This is a dodgy website. I got an order and posted me some different design boots and they refused to take it back, said it must be my mistake. its just unbelievable!! I am so angry and just want to warn everyone it is not a good website for UGG boots.0 -
I have just paid £200 for Bailey Sand boots for the gf, expensive yes. However they were from a store in town that was a registered dealer. That peace of mind can not have a price put on it
At this money i would not take the risk as the generic term 'Ugg' opens up a mindfield of technical outs for websites selling sheepskin boots!
If you want genuine Ugg's buy them in person, if you want sheepskin boots spend £50 online and take your chance.
If it is too good to be true,it genuinely is!0 -
I'm looking for a pair of the Ugg Bailey Button boots in Blackberry Wine colour - despite seeing them instore at the UGG shop in Westfields, I can't see them on the official website, and can't find a genuine pair on any other website?!
Has anyone seen them anywhere? Would obviously prefer to order via a site with cashback/discount code - especially as the blackberry colour aren't as popular!
Thanks!
