I'm looking for some Ugg boots for myself and my auntie, both of us have some walking difficulties.

We need a soft boot which must have a chunky heel (not the flat ones like classic short or tall) and must have an opening to get them on as we can't use the boots you have to shove your foot down into!

There are Uggs which have zips along the side but even then you'd still have to pull them on to some respect, the ones I have tried on have not been that easy to slide feet into without some sort of pulling and that said, most of the styles are all flat- did you have a particular style in mind?

Are you sure Uggs are the best idea? Maybe a lace up boot would be better? Have you tried Office, Shudoo, Amazon/Javari or similar sites, Kurt Geiger has 20?% off with Glamour magazine and M&S have some very easy to wear styles with slight heels.

Is it that you are in alot of pain when your sliding your foot into the shoe or that you have connected those styles to the flat styles? just that Fitflops have a very slight heel and could be worth trying them on but even with the zip styles, like the Ugg Australia the zip only goes so far and the rest of fitting it on is about pushing your foot past some form of resistance.

Is uggs.bz not a genuine site then?
    There will always be:
A “LIE” in BELIEVE, an “OVER” in LOVER, an “END” in FRIEND, an “US” in TRUST , and an “IF” in LIFE ;)

It's just that my ankle is immobile so I can't point my toes, and I have a lot of scarring and damaged circulation on right leg and foot, so they need to be soft. Reason I need a chunky heel is that I can't bring my ankle to a ninety degree angle so my foot is permanently fixed pointing towards the ground. I can't walk at all without a heel on footwear.

Just wondered if you knowledgeable people could recommend a suitable style?

  • i wish i could help as i am looking for some bailey buttons, maybe a list of genuine websites would help establish this issue once and for all without reading through 484 pages! So confusing!
