No, I used chris_m_hay@yahoo.com.au . That's the address used for the majority Harting's correspondance with me.
Why don't you try the other email address then, missingink? Worth a go if they are still ignoring you.

I'll email them too if you want...say I've heard about your plight on a UK consumer support website and find it incredible that they see fit to ignore you?

PM me if you want me to do that.

I really hope you get a result.

I don't know if there's any point any more. OH seems happy with his purchase & the boots have been worn. I can't see that they'd be happy to receive them for a refund, nor would they cover full return postage costs or send me a UK 5 in return.

Sorry to hear that, missingink. If any good has come out of your saga, it's that we've all been forewarned not to deal with Hartings.

Not that it's any good to you though. I really hoped you'd get sorted.

Big hug for you.

Thank you so much for all your support!:)

Everybody else here seems to be full of praise for Harting's though so I guess I was just unlucky.

Wish there was something I could do, but as I said, it's not my money, OH is sick of the whole thing & it is all done with as far as he's concerned.

Also seems that Harting's couldn't give two figs about the situation & I can't see that I can force their hand in to action really.

Ah well, you live & learn.

That's very true missingink. I certainly wouldn't deal with Hartings after your experience.

I'd send their chief executive one last email saying you now realise you're wasting your time attempting to communicate with them, but will make a point of telling as many people as possible what dire after sales service you've had from them.

And mention you've detailed your experiences on a top UK consumer website so that others are forewarned, too.

I'm really sorry you got no help from them after all your efforts though.
