Many thanks for the cyber hugs!:D

I think they should've paid for the postage too but the £18 just covered basic with no tracking or insurance which they seem to think is adequate,(sp?)but it's not their £75 that they risk losing if/when the parcel goes missing, is it?

I will have to keep them-had enough messing about, OH is sick to the back teeth of it, after all, this is meant to be my xmas present from him!

Just wanted them to fit. Was SO looking forward to having them & this has kinda ruined the whole experience of owning my first ugg style boots tbh.:(

Wish I could afford to buy another pair(LFA)just to console myself & restore my faith in the positive ugg owning experience you all seem to have!:o
What a pain, missingink! I really hoped this saga would have a happy ending for you. Maybe a pair of thick socks might help?

It's enough to put you off buying online, isn't it?

    More hugs for you.

most likely- if it has UGG in the URL and is not the genuine UGG webiste them 99.9% of the time it's a site selling fakes. I would assume that the prices all seem a bit too good to be true? also a pretty good indication to stay way.

Theres been no movement since the 20th, they obviously haven't attempted delvery to my home at 2.10am so could they be at a post office awaiting a customs charge i've had nothing through yet. I tried to email USPS but it won't take a UK postcode on their query form. Am I near to getting them do you think? The use of attempted is making me nervous!
    Many thanks x

I had something like this happen to me before aswell, I think it might have been while they were waiting for me to pay a custom charge but can't really remember.. May be worth phoning parcelforce as they sometimes deal with usps deliveries in the uk and I think my parcel was with them when it happened it me.

    Hope you get them ok!

Many thanks Felineprincess, I just called and it is in customs with a £56 charge. They think the letter may have gone missing so i've got the local depot number, i'll see if I can pay them now.

Thanks, Zaksmum!:) Was hoping for a happy ending too, but I'm just not that lucky!:(

Told my OH that walking in them feels like when you were little & you tried stomping around in you mum or dad's boots!

Tried thick socks-they just slide down & bunch around my toes which leaves you feeling like you have very uncomfortable flip flops on & can get quite painfull!

I'm constantly put off from buying on line, when will I ever learn?! (maybe when I can train myself to resist a bargain!!!:o)

i'd go with emu's over uggs if i were you. i'd pretty much go with anything over uggs and you are MUCH less likely to get fake emus. In fact i've not come across a site selling fake emus. Check out shudoo for emus- they were on sale recently and there tend to have vouchers for shudoo knocking about.

i want my LFAs. I ordered them on the 18th and according to the google update says they haven't been dispatched yet. :(
