Just checked with owner & she says it's Ok for me to post e-mail address for 'serendipity' shop in Camden as she does mail order:
serendipity.pink@virgin.net

By the way, re 'Storm protector' - presumably that's a promo ad!? Why would anyone pay £8.50 (£6.50 + £2 postage:eek: ) when you can buy 'Kiwi' protector spray in Tesco & most shoe repairers for £2.50!! It does the same job just fine!

I am not trying to be funny, but I was only trying to remind people to remember to get some and advised which one I have recently bought (after it had been recommended by another MSE (thanks snowbrow). If you had read the thread further back, you would have known and not just jumped to conclusions. I was quite happy to pay this amount considering the amount I paid on the shoes for stuff that I know has been officially recommended by the manufacturer of the boots.

Also, regarding promo ad. As you can see I have been a regular on this forum for more than a year. It is people who have only posted 2 or 3 posts including some giving out email addresses for some shops that I would be wondering whether they are promo.
But then again I appreciate others' feedback and recommendation, whether they are newbies or regulars rather than shoot people down for trying to help.
• Whoa...no need to throw your toys out of your pram!

Firstly, I didn't mean to offend you! I questioned your motives because no doubt the seller of your expensive Uggs is somehow connected with the seller of the very expensive spray protector!

Secondly, I recommended this shop because I think their Uggs are good value - I don't think £8.50 for spray protector is!!!

Thirdly, congratulaions on being a regular on this forum for more than a year I won't be able to compete with you on that as I have too much else going on in my life!!

I bought my UGG's from Australia Direct like most people on this thread for a fraction of the price that your recommended shop sells them at. I bought the Spray from a completely different website, so sellers are not connected.

Just thought it was interesting that you only posted on this one thread giving out the shop's email address. You have even gone through the trouble of registering on this forum considering you've got so much else going on in your life :rotfl: .I rest my case.

no, i've had no response from either this site or the emails i've sent to aussie direct, think they're ignoring me, they were quick enough to answer when i was emailing about buying the boots, guess they're not interested if they're not getting money out of it

Same with me! I have emailed Tenaya but no reply yet.
• I too would love a response from Aussie Direct, I guess we have overloaded their systems. I think they start work again in a couple of hours, so I am sure that some of us will get emails during the night. I have already had one pair from them and they are perfect. So great infact, that I want to order another pair, but they don't seem to have any left in my size!

Perhaps I should have said 'manufacturer' not 'seller'! It's naive to believe a company as big as Deckers (Ugg Australia) is not benefitting from promoting Storm's spray in one way or another - regrdless of which website they're on!

Meanwhile, 'my' recommended shop (serendipity) sells genuine AUSTRALIAN Uggs - not those made in China. Yours may be cheaper - hardly a 'fraction of the price' though - but Jumbo Uggs are much better quality than the ones made in China. Suggest you check them out before making any further uninformed comments!

Personally I wear Uggs for the warmth & comfort, not for the label!

• My husband recently had a trip to the states. I telephoned a few department stores that stocked genuine ugg boots via their website. After about the 3rd attempt I found some. I asked how far away my husbands hotel was and the lady on the phone said she drives past it on the way home and she would drop them off. I paid for them with my bank card and a few hours later the boots were delivered to my husbands room. They worked out at £64.

If you know anyone who is going to the states it is worth a try - all my husband had to do was bring them home!
