:question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question:
How many times have we been asked this question recently? I appreciate not everyone is computer literate and able to recognise a dodgy website so here are a few pointers which will hopefully prevent you being fraudulently parted from your hard-earned cash, and not just when buying Ugg boots!
ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS perform the following checks on any website you are unfamiliar with before even thinking of buying anything ....- Is there a contact address? - ditch any website that uses only a webform/email as means of contact.
- Is there a landline telephone number? - avoid any website that either doesn't provide a phone number or only a mobile number. Also beware of premium rate numbers.
- Is the site secure? - check for the presence of the locked padlock sign or https:// (with additionals S) at the start of the address in the url bar above.
- Is the site registered in the UK? - use a "whois" search facility such as http://www.whois-search.com/ to check the registration details of the website for country of origin, name/address registered and most importantly at this time of the year - the date the site was registered!
If a site suddenly pops up selling all the top designer gear, and has recently been registered, advertising lots of stock with promises of delivery in time for Christmas then it's likely to be a scam, so STEER CLEAR!!!
Yuan Chen
If you find that the registrant of any wesite is listed as this person then please do not touch the site with a bargepole!!!!
This man is a con artist operating hundreds of illicit websites selling counterfeit products and has a number of websites already registered specifically using the word UGG in the url. Any website you come across using the word ugg MUST be checked.
CHECK IT OUT BEFORE BUYING!!!!

I wear crocs us 9 and my uggs are us 10!!
Do they fit comfortably?
My crocs are US9 too so I was going to order the same size UGGS (measured my feet and they're 26cm which is a US9 according to one site I checked) but now I'm wondering if I should go a size bigger?“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

Are these boots genuine?
At first glance i thought they were, but realised they don't show the logo on the back.
It also say:
"
Q: Are your Ugg Boots the 'UGG Australia' brand?
A:
We are not affiliated with 'UGG Australia' and do not sell their products.
Unlike many other retailers, we don't sell Ugg Boots that are made in China. We sell genuinely Australian product, made in Australia from the finest Australian sheepskin. If you want best quality, genuinely Australian Ugg boots at best prices you’ve come to the right STOP! "
It says the above on the homepage, and i don't know if it means they're genuine or not ?0 -

No they are not. As stated in the posts above genuine "UGG Australia" boots have the large middle G on the logo. These are lookalikes and the wording on the website tries to make it look as if they are UGG Australia without actually saying so. Also notiice that the only boot which shows the label on the heel on the site conveniently hides one of the G's. Having said that if you like them and dont want to pay £140 then go for it as its only really fashion victims such as my Wife who fall for all that hype and would notice. You killed me scooter!!0 -

So i am now considering ordering some ugg boots off here.
The only thing is that on the site it doesn't show the full logo on the back, so i was wondering if anyone has them?
Do they have the origianl UGG Australia logo ? with the middle G enlarged?
Thanks0 -
Hi . I've boought my original uggs from these guys
www.uggbootsrus.com.au
they arrived within a week with no tax bill or anything. Uggs have just bought out a waterproof boot which I've just ordered . If anyone's interested will let you know what they are like when they arrive. Hoping they keep me toasty for when the winter arrives!0 -

I'm sorry to say this but those boots aren't the original UGG ones, they are a copy. If you look at the tall boots, one of the pics shows the back label on the heel and it's not genuine.
