  • Hi there,
I am very tempted by the 25% off Jumbucks offer from Shudoo and was wondering if anyone had any experience of them - re sizing in relation to Ugg Australias and how they last? Also I am after new black ones after my dyed feet disaster with my baroques! Any experience of this either?
    Thanks very much

missus got her ugg argyle boots that i ordered for her. We have been sent a 5.5 ratehr than a 5 so they are too big... nightmare. Strangle enough the UGG website states 5.5 rather than 0.5 but there was no mention on the website that they came in half sizes, in fact on the order confirmation it shows 05.
Shame got to send these back i hope they cover the return postage. Didnt work out as such a nice surprise now!
Listen to what people say, but watch what people what people do!!

Stolt, ugg boots have recently had their sizings on the boxes relabelled but the sizing of the boots themselves haven't changed. A UK5.5 is just the same as a UK5, so you haven't been sent the wrong size IYSWIM. Some people find they need to order a size down in uggs (in your case a 4.5), and unfortunately it sounds like your OH is one of them . Shame about the surprise but i bet she appreciated the gesture all the same.

oh, thats not good then, just alot of hassle now trying to send them back, wishi had just let her buy them from the high street now. Will have to find somehwere that stocks half sizes as the place where we bought them from doesnt. ho hum. Thanks for letting me know about the sizes, although It pays to be educated before you part with your cash :rotfl:

Where did you buy from Stolt? They will be stocking half sizes but just may not have them labelled as such. If the site is advertising the boots as whole sizes, and the UK 5 is too big, then you need to order a UK 4 (which will be sent to you as a UK4.5).

Ugg boot sizes go up in increments of one, there are no true half sizes if that makes sense. So a site will either be selling them as UK 4, 5, 6 etc or else as 4.5, 5.5, 6.5 etc but in reality the boots are the same size. I hope i explained that right, ans apologies if i've just confused you even more:o

If possible get your wife to try the boots on first, ugg sizing varies for different people and i've read posts on here where one size is too big, but the size down is too small. Also the sizing varies between styles of boots, so she may find the classic boots fit her better than the argyle ones. HTH:D

  • I was wondering if someone could tell me if these are genuine uggs please

    http://www.uggstore.com.au/product_info.php?products_id=121&osCsid=1b77c5d807454abe71081ad20976231c

My uncle in Australia bought them for me for Christmas, and they arrived today but the UGG label on the back doesnt look like the ones on my friends uggs, and they dont say ugg underneath on the sole. Is that because they are Australian, or fake?

They are not 'fake' they are just not the Ugg Australia brand that everyone equates to being 'Uggs' in the UK. They are genuine sheepskin boots though and if you're happy with the quality then go for it.

It actually says all this in their footer:

"DISCLAIMER: We are not affiliated with the American company Deckers Outdoor Corporation and we don't sell their products. Unlike many other on-line retailers, we don't sell products that are made in China. Please don't confuse our products with the Deckers "UGG Australia" brand. All the products in our range are made in Australia from the finest Australian sheepskin by Australian manufacturers."

Hi, I've spoken to Branch 309 and they told me they only stock uk half sizes, thus the great prices they charge. I am a size uk 7, ordered and tried there uk 6 half, thinking there would be give, but know luck too tight, and of course their uk 7 half too big. Guess that's whats know as sods law. Great prices for kids though. Were yours foam sole or rubber ?

sorry for the delay, my soles are rubber, boots are sooo comfortable and warm, much nicer than my emus! I need more pairs now!!!:eek::eek::eek:
