When I spoke to Tenaya on Thursday night I asked her to register on here as there were so many questions unanswered. She said she would sort something but I didn't think they actually would!

They are lovely people at aussiedirect - can't wait for my boots to come now. But not my phone bill after phoning Australia eeek.

Thanks Pink Glitter for the recommendation x
  • Exactly my concern too, although I do think the Mocha are probably the nicest! I was thinking the leather ones might stand up to the wet/snow winter weather though, so I can keep my Classic Uggs for nice weather only lol ;)

I have the ideal solution...We`ll buy a pair of each:D ...Although to finance such an extravagence, I`d probably have to sell my body to medical science...(Hmmm... wonder if they pay upfront)...even better if they pay by the 1lb...I`d be able to afford 3 pairs then!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Don't think I haven't already considered that :D ... think I might need to take out a second mortgage to finance all these boots hehehehe ;)

You could get them from aussiedirect, like we all have. They are doing an offer whereby they cover the possible costs of tax/duty (as they come from Aus).. so you dont have to worry about being faced with extra costs.

The boots from there (inc price of shipping) still work out at like half the UK price.

I would suggest you go for a US size 7/8, but if you can, go to a shop that seLls them and try both sizes on to see what fits. I think they come up a bit big, so you might be better with the US 7 :)

Does this include uGgs? I looked at the uggs on there the other day, but they are sold by 'Cloggs', not amazon, so would the discount apply to them?

EDIT: Just read T&Cs : "Offer ends at midnight on October 14, 2007 and only applies to shoes dispatched by Amazon.co.uk."

They have Emus though, which are included in the 25% offer, which are nice. They have the long and the short style, and their around £50ish... but would be around £38 after discount. They have them in Sand, Chesnut, Chcolate and Black I think too.

  • Does anybody know whether you can specify that you want the long UGGS in Chestnut made in China only?
