    Hi Pinkdee,

It will happens, but at the same time we like to think we check them before they are shipped, we find that if you had them and didnt know about the china ones, you be a happy person and life would go on, but like all things once you start looking......and you have a shop person yapping your ear ....youve got fakes....every little thing compounds

And also you have gone to a store and compared too items made in two parts of the world, again they are mostly man made so there will allways be differances,

    James,
thanks for the reply and taking time out to talk to us.
I am still a bit confused though as to why some people are getting their uggs from you with a china made label in them and others with an australian label inside??
Rest assured, it won't stop me ordering some more as they are lovely and as you say until you start to compare you are no wiser.
    Waddle you do eh?

the reason for that is simple, we had a choice. we where offered Australian made or china made and we felt it would be a great idea to have Australian Made uggs. you know UGG Australia..Australian made has a nice flow to it, but the chocolates where ordered too late and we had to get made in China, or nothing,

All the fashion boots are madein china

I quite fancy the suede ones in Mocha...drool...My only concern is , they wouldn`t stay that colour for very long!...lol:rotfl:

Exactly my concern too, although I do think the Mocha are probably the nicest! I was thinking the leather ones might stand up to the wet/snow winter weather though, so I can keep my Classic Uggs for nice weather only lol ;)

  • good question, In the making of UGG Boots, there is a lot of man work involved, They are not like plastic sandles that you press abutton and bang you have made 1000 pairs, To make a pair of UGG boots takes a few man hours of sewing together, It would be nice to think the factory in Australia is exactly the same as the one in China but it is not so. the sheepskin quality is the same, and sometimes we wish the finish could be better, but they are mostly man made product, so veriations will happen.

Thanks for the reply James. What do I do if I really am not happy with the finish? Will email you photos if you like?
