I think it's because they're more of a summer shoe, meant to be folded over.

I am on the verge of buying the metallic bronze tall ones from ASOS: they have a full size range available for £126 and they have the pewter ones for the same price but only in an 8.

Has anyone got the metallic bronze ones?

no but I have the pewter and love them. Would get these like a shot if I could afford them. Was hoping a code would work to bring them nearer £100 but no luck. Don't know about anyone else, but these don't seem to run big. I ordered a 7us as i'm a uk 6, but probably could have done with a bigger size as my toe is at the front. As I got them from US it was too much problem to exchange them.

my neice is off to New York shortly (lucky!) ... does anyone have any ideas how much she could pick up some black classic shorts for? not really sure where to start looking!

also, does anyone know if they have done pewter short?? would love some if they did!

I just bought the metallic bronze ones; I wanted the pewter more but there's only size 8 available. Still really pleased though.

BTW on ASOS website, they have an Ugg sheepskin scarf in the sale if anyone wants one.

In general this is probably a good rule, but I've seen both real as well as fake Uggs for sale on Short Ugg Boots. But they are listed by private sellers everywhere, so listings should be evaluated on a case by case basis.
