If anyone comes across the pewter mettalic uggs at a reduced price please post details.I ordered them from asos in december for my xmas pressie when they were reduced to 113.00.They sent the wrong ones so returned them with a request to replace with the correct ones, also emailed to tell them.A week later they emailed to say they had refuned the money back as they were out of stock...Liars I had checked daily and were still in stock so again I emailed to say that they were in stock and I had requested a replacement not a refund. She replied saying about human error couldnt be avoided and if I wanted the boots to re order.Guess what they were back up to full price again...argh fuming I told them their cservice was terrible and as it was their fault I should be honured boots at price I paid.Heard nothing for another week when they mailed to say order boots and then email receipt and they would refund the difference.Problem is im not sure if I can trust them to do this.

Really thought somewhere would have had them reduced in jan sales.

I do have my LFA cupids to fall back on which btw are fantastic but really want uggs.

Sorry for rant just so annoyed...grrr

the majority of the feedback doesn't mention problems with the items but with the poor service as stated in my previous message. this poor service can apply to any of the items that they are selling. there is no way i would use them.

Whoever does their listings can't even spell. Chestnut has been spelt 'Chesnet', Beige has been spelt 'Beig'

I like this bit too "We will only refund postage if we've made a mistake or the shoes are faulty, and that doesn't happen very often as we do check every single shoes carefully and patiently." hahaha
Hi, I just want to point out that I wasn't disputing anything about their feedback and when I ordered my boots their feedback wasn't superb but was reasonable.
Also to add, I didn't order from their ebay shop I ordered direct from their own site and had even emailed them a few questions before I ordered as was weary of fakes, to which they replied the next day as I sent the email at night. When the boots arrived there was a flyer inside with a 10% off code to use on their site.

I was only posting my experience of ordering emu boots from them in response to the OPs question, but I can see both sides. If they had footwear I wanted I would still order from them.

Right......so what's the difference between these two? isn't merino wool from a sheep too?

Am not sure either- and I did a textile degree specialising in knit!

I am aware that merino wool comes from a merino sheep, perhaps the sheepskined ones do not come from a merino sheep and come from a differernt breed? this would indicate that the leather/suede (my understanding of suede being untreated brushed leather as oppose to cowhide which others have stated on here pages and pages ago) one would be tougher or the other wool would be softer.- Could be wrong, but thats my assumption.
  • I need to get them for my daughter now, but cannot find size 5 in stock anywhere. It really doesn't seem worth wasting my time on the big so called Ugg discussion thread, they were talking about mohair jumpers last time I looked!

Anyone know where they might have size 5 in stock?
  • If you happen to shop through the Quidco website, go to Cloggs and they are offering a 5% discoutn using code quidco59.

    Hope this helps someone.

N.B if you are trying to purchase cardy or grey uggs (like I was) they are waiting on a delivery and will be dispatched on 11th Feb.
