anyway, they're going back but i can't find size 5 chesnut lo stingers ANYWHERE, they seem to be out of stock all over the place! the only places i've found are http://www.scorpionshoes.co.uk/ and http://www.ajzboardwear.co.uk/ but they seem to be random websites and i am very dubious about buying things from there.

anyone know where i can get some? or have any experience ordering from these sites? please help me, i want some chestnut stingers

Hi Sarah, I ordered a pair of Hi Stingers from Scorpion shoes.
They were really great, very quick delivery, well packaged and my boots are gorgeous.

I know someone has posted that their ebay feedback is poor, but when i checked it before I bought my boots, looking through the feedback I didn't find any negative reviews of their Emu boots.

I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again

I know someone else has also posted a link for Chemical Records, they also sell Emus but i dunno if they have the ones you are looking for or know much about them really.

the majority of the feedback doesn't mention problems with the items but with the poor service as stated in my previous message. this poor service can apply to any of the items that they are selling. there is no way i would use them.

Whoever does their listings can't even spell. Chestnut has been spelt 'Chesnet', Beige has been spelt 'Beig'

I like this bit too "We will only refund postage if we've made a mistake or the shoes are faulty, and that doesn't happen very often as we do check every single shoes carefully and patiently." hahaha

I just bought a pair of high stingers in chestnut from shoe-envy for my partner.And they are great!
The company is listed on the emu list of uk retailers!
Free delivery by courier too!!(took 2 days)

I'd just like to say also.I think the stingers are a far better boot than the uGg australia.They seem better made and more robust!(also my partner prefered the sole).They are also wider fitting than uggs,and look wider.I ordered her Uk shoe size which is 5,and they fit perfectly
I did buy some stingers from amazon.But something just wasn't right about them!
One of the boots was a different sheepskin from the other and much lighter than the ones i got from shoe-envy.And the lining was very thin!
They also had a russell and bromiley sticker on the side.So don't know what was going on there.
Needless to say they went back!

Anyway.My partner was thrilled with the stingers from shoe-envy as they were a total surprise when she came home from work!

Aren't i a nice chap!!?! (I think i'm on a promise tonight!!)

What are the differences between the stinger and bronte? apart from the price!

Stinger have sheepskin lining and Bronte are merino wool

The whole stinger boot is sheepskin.Whereas the Bronte outer is suede!

The quality is worlds apart! Even though they look similar from a distance!

I've got uggs in my eyes from so much googling. I am looking for these

shoe envy only have size 8 left. Does anyone know any other reputable retailer I could get them from? I just sent some so-called Emu back to amazon as you could even see the glue all over the front where the boot was stuck to the sole.

Alternatively if I order from Australia for eg I think they are about £75, how much customs duty would I have to pay please?
