Can anyone tell me how much time Bloomin Direct would have legally, before they refunded, after recieving a return?

I want to take this further but obviously need to wait the correct amount of time before doing so.

The law is 30 days after you have returned them. If they go past the 30 days then Consumer Advice tell you to forward an Email and a letter sent via recorded delivery to advise them they have run over the 30 days and are in breach of the Distance selling regulations. You can log it with consumer advice as a complaint and they will give you a reference number for your case and any advice you need along the way you can call them, I used them when twoleftfeet failed to reply to my emails when I wanted to return a pushchair, they advised me how to return the item then when I had not had the refund or any contact from the company I called them again for more advice. They were really helpful and I eventually got my money refunded the day before it was going to be passed to Trading Standards. There is some info on their website http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk/after_you_buy/buying_at_home/returning-cancelling/

    What about bloomin direct? ;)

Haha yes thats probably one of the odd ones...one hopes!

I think the Chinese fake websites are named getugg, okeyugg etc.
  • Thanks for that. Looks like i'm going to have to wait it out till near the end of the month then.

    what about this site http://www.inugg.com/

If you search back a few pages this was posted-so looks as though they are definately fake

If you look at their details they actually state that these are not made by Deckers.......so they are not genuine 'ugg australia' boots.

    Copied from their site.............

We are not affiliated with Deckers 'UGG Australia' brand and do not sell their product. Ugg and ugg boot are generic terms in Australia describing a pull on sheepskin boot with eva sole. INUGG designs and makes it own ugg boots and is not affiliated with any other brands.
  • Just a quick thanks to those who recommended Emu boots - I got some ultra Short/minis in Chestnut from asos £31!. They are lovely and a £70 saving.

Now just have to resist the urge to spend the £70 on the Gold Uggs!!!

wow- cant get my head around the sizing- I have had my Uggs for 5 years- they still fit great- but I am a UK size 6.5 or 7, my Uggs are a size 5! they fit perfectly- I did try on several sizes- starting off at size 7, then 6, then 5, 4 was too small. (Thank the Lord for Topshop having the sizes in!)

Will be ordering size 5 again for my size 7 feet next time too!

i'm a uk 6 and my first pair of uggs were us8/uk6 and were far too big, i had to use thick sheepskin insoles

i bought uk5/us7 for my 2nd pair and they are still a bit too big!
  • i've had a look at those gold uggs and they do look very gold and shiny on the ASOS website but saw some in the bank and they dont look like that at all , they look quite nice , if my black cardi uggs dont fit i might well buy some of those !! and they look better than the sheepskin ones for the winter months !
  • I've ordered some from T-Reds last night, I ordered a 6 but if they are too big at least I have the option of being able to return them to the store (thats if they do actually have them in stock, I haven't had a confirmation email yet). ;)

Edit: Just got the email and they are out of stock, must be a sign that I am destined to get them cheaper later lol!
Well I can't stand by the side
And watch this life pass me by

    Just want to be...Happy

  • Jennie, I never knew Topshop sold Uggs....good to know!! :D
