As suspected, and previously logged, my £110 order from https://www.uggstore.uk.com for a pair of Ugg Australia Tall Classics, advertised on their website using genuine Ugg Australia images and trademarked logo, have arrived - FAKES!! Also, two shoe sizes smaller than marked. Seller contacted by email, currently denying item is counterfeit, but I already own a pair of genuine Ugg Australia (Decker) boots, bought from licensed UK vendor, and these do not compare. Internet research suggests that Ugg fakes generally come up much smaller than genuine Decker Ugg Australia boots, further confirmation (not that I needed it) that the boots issued by this seller are fakes. Hopefully this post will prevent anyone else getting duped by them.

I just received my short metallic gold uggs from asos, and they are gorgeous. OH saw them on the website while i was ordering and thought they looked hideously gold, but now he can't get over how nice they are in real life:D

I am a size uk5 and always wear a size 5 in uggs. I've tried a size 4 on and it was far too tight, and i'm not paying out all that money just for my toe to go right through the front of the boot:eek: I always thought you were only meant to go down a size if you were a half size, so i would recommend trying a pair on if you can before ordering uggs online.

I did notice though that the asos boots i got today are a slightly neater fit than my two previous uggs, but then i guess you're always going to get a bit of variation between these boots.

Is this site selling fake goods?

    :question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question::question:

How many times have we been asked this question recently? I appreciate not everyone is computer literate and able to recognise a dodgy website so here are a few pointers which will hopefully prevent you being fraudulently parted from your hard-earned cash, and not just when buying Ugg boots!

    ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS
perform the following checks on any website you are unfamiliar with before even thinking of buying anything ....
    • Is there a contact address? - ditch any website that uses only a webform/email as means of contact.
    • Is there a landline telephone number? - avoid any website that either doesn't provide a phone number or only a mobile number. Also beware of premium rate numbers.
    • Is the site secure? - check for the presence of the locked padlock sign or https:// (with additionals S) at the start of the address in the url bar above.
    • Is the site registered in the UK? - use a "whois" search facility such as http://www.whois-search.com/ to check the registration details of the website for country of origin, name/address registered and most importantly at this time of the year - the date the site was registered!

If a site suddenly pops up selling all the top designer gear, and has recently been registered, advertising lots of stock with promises of delivery in time for Christmas then it's likely to be a scam, so STEER CLEAR!!!

If you find that the registrant of any wesite is listed as this person then please do not touch the site with a bargepole!!!!

This man is a con artist operating hundreds of illicit websites selling counterfeit products and has a number of websites already registered specifically using the word UGG in the url. Any website you come across using the word ugg MUST be checked.

    CHECK IT OUT BEFORE BUYING!!!!

Can anyone tell me how much time Bloomin Direct would have legally, before they refunded, after recieving a return?

I want to take this further but obviously need to wait the correct amount of time before doing so.

I think its just the fake Ugg sites that have Ugg in the name. So for example, getugg, bestugg etc.

As far as I'm aware none of the genuine websites will have Ugg in their name.
