  • I notice on http://www.puddlebeach.com.au/ they are selling Emus and Uggs for rather good prices...are they a legit company?

Also you know the tall Uggs? Are they quite roomy, my calves are quite big and I was just curious incase they wouldn't fit me.

  • Hello, new here, this thread has taught me a lot, so thanks! I´ve decided I want some non-Deckers uggs as I´d like to support Australian/NZ companies and I don´t need to have the same shoes as Pamela ;) I just can´t decide between Hartings Canterbury and Kiwi Sheepskins uggs! Please can you tell which one would be a better made, better quality boot? Canterbury looks so nicely made and neet in the pictures. (I want chocolate colour)

I´ve read comments saying some non-Deckers uggs are actually a better quality than Deckers uggs, which ones are commonly known to be that? Love from Australia would probably be nice too but a bit too much money. Also, if some of these following boots would be better quality wise than Hartings Canterbury and Kiwi Sheepskins please tell me: http://www.saveouraussieicon.com/buy.html

Are all these boots mentioned all complitely woolly and fluffy inside, under the foot as well? That´s what I want.
    Thank you so much :)

hi has any one ordered from goodugg. i did 2 weeks ago when i went to their checkout they said my payment was £60.30 but when they took money out of bank it was £76 they have said it was due to exchange rate, but i had it on £ on their website and how can it be that much different, they have still not even shipped them yet.

Nayp - can you tell me if you have received your boots yet, if they are genuine and how you made contact with them please, I've emailed them twice as my order had no tracking number so I have no idea what's going on with my order now.
I'm gutted - my order came to £79.95 and I have just called my bank after reading your post and they have taken £84.16 - I had currency shown in GB pounds too!!!
I'm going to call my card provider disputes line tomorrow and talk to them about it.

    Thank you!

I've just received some Chocolate Emu Mini Stingers from Puddle Beach and am really, really impressed with them.

Not only were they about £44 delivered from Australia, they arrived in 8 days. They are absolutely perfect - much nicer than I expected - so I've ordered 3 more pairs for family members. (You also get a free canvas tote bag, which I wasn't expecting)

From what I've read, the tall Decker Uggs are thinner than the tall Emu Australia Uggs.

I tried the EMU Bronte Hi Merino Wool & Suede Boots from west-way.com but sent them back as they are just that little bit too snug for my calves. I've exchanged them for the EMU Hip Tie Merino Wool & Suede Boots, which are open on one side and fastened with a ribbon tie so they're more adjustable. Hopefully they'll be ok, otherwise I'm going to have to stick with the ankle boots.

I haven't actually tried Deckers so I can't make a judgement but I have read several times that people think that Emu Stingers are of comparable, if not superior, quality - mainly due to the sturdier sole and because they're made from double sided sheepskin.

Emu Brontes are not as good quality as they made from suede with merino wool stitched to it - but they're still very nice!

My Emu Stingers are bouncy/fluffy/kittensoft under the sole of the foot as well as around the top. My OH tried them on and exclaimed it was like walking on a mouse!
  • goodugg.co.uk is a site that will take your money, but not give you the goods you paid for. I purchased two pairs of boots I recieved one pair that are very poor quality and the second pair i not only didn't receive, but the tracking number they give is non-existent on the delivery site. They have ignored all attempts to contact them.
They also own 9 other sites, so please check before you buy.

This is what I have just found when I've searched goodugg.co.uk!!!

Hi, did you order your usual UK size, I would like ankle boots.
Is there a UK stockist that sells the emu mini stingers?

Amazon have the mini bronte in chestnut in my size 8, £39 with free delivery so I am tempted - found a code so £33 delivered.

They also have the chocolate mini stingers for Order Total: £43.76 after discount code used.
