  • Thanks for the insight Minxy_Bella. I might go for the Stingers instead of the actual Uggs I don't want them to be snug I want them to be cosy :D

I'm a UK size 5 in shoes, what size Emu would you suggest I buy? Also whats the difference between the Morino Lo and the Stinger Lo? I am so clueless, I apologise.

Hello, new here, this thread has taught me a lot, so thanks! I´ve decided I want some non-Deckers uggs as I´d like to support Australian/NZ companies and I don´t need to have the same shoes as Pamela ;) I just can´t decide between Hartings Canterbury and Kiwi Sheepskins uggs! Please can you tell which one would be a better made, better quality boot? Canterbury looks so nicely made and neet in the pictures. (I want chocolate colour)

I have both Canterbury and Kiwi Sheepski boots and to be honest, there's not much in them, both are equally good quality, and also better quality than my UGG boots ;)

I've had both pairs over a year now and they're still in fantastic shape. I've also spent this afternoon standing in pouring rain in the middle of a cold field for 2 hours whilst wearing my Canterbury's and my feet were toasty warm! Just wish I'd also been wearing a sheepskin bodysuit :rotfl:

Hi, did you order your usual UK size, I would like ankle boots.
Is there a UK stockist that sells the emu mini stingers?

Hi - I ordered my usual size, which is 7 and they're fine in the Stingers - maybe the sheepskin will wear down a bit the longer I've got them as they're extremely fluffy right now - but if that means that they feel a little loose, then I'll get some sheepskin insoles to counteract that.

Interestingly, the size 7 I tried with the Brontes did feel way too big, probably as the merino wool lining is much thinner, so I'm going to try the size 6 next.

Yes, I'm sure there are plenty - I just googled and looking at the shopping sites, rather than websites, to get a price comparison.
  • Just bought Emu Stinger Lows Black in UK 5. Cannot wait to get them and try them out.

My friends will probably screw their nose up cos they aren't Uggs but at the end of the day comforts all that matters to me.

  • So Emus are very much liked as well.... Now it´s more to choose from then, thanks a bunch! ;) Hartings Canterbury, Kiwi Sheepskins or Emu ugg?! SO hard to decide not only which ones to go for but where from too, if I chose Emus! Puddle Beach would be cheaper than Amazon.co.uk IF I wasn´t charged customs duty. I´m so confused, been researching many nights, loosing sleep (BAD with a baby waking me up as well!) and still no decision :( Just have to pick one very soon, or I go mad, I suppose those are all equally good.

    Hi,
I now how confusing it can be to make a decision on what to buy so maybe this may help someone out. I have had Deckers Uggs for 4 years they lasted well until I accidently painted them. After reading this thread I purchased some Kiwi Sheepskins which were lovely - as soft and as nice looking as my Uggs. But unfortunately I had to send these back as the smallest size they did a US Mens 4 were too big for my size 3 feet. So if you are going to go for these order a size smaller. I have now ordered some Emu Stingers from Puddlebeach - can't believe the price £55 including postage - brilliant. Hopefully they will fit.
  • ^Where do you get this amount £55 with postage?! I only see £61.29 + £8.81 postage to UK. (I´m not from UK but still from Europe). I´d get them if I also got them for £55 with postage especially as there´s a chance I wouldn´t have to pay customs duties. Amazon would be £87.34 for Chocolate.

(I also would love some sheepskin mittens, any tips where to get them from?)

Mookie, Pinkgem - have either of you got the code for free P&P at Celtic please? I got the email this week but deleted it and have now decided I want to order something

    Cheers
