If you want short boots you could go for the kids ones direct from Ugg Australias site P&P is £5.

Was looking at ordering from this site, I usually wear a UK ladies 4.5, do you need to order a size down on the Kids uggs too? I was wondering if a 4 would fit me...
  • My daughters Emu's arrived from Amazon yesterday (kids) and I am quite pleasantly surprised with them. They are Merino Wool (where does that come from? Sheep? And is is different to the Ugg Sheepskin?) but for £27 including postage I am best pleased with the quality, especially as they are just for kids to knock around in.

Just to make you smile, for those of you who remember the 'superglue' incident with my week old Uggs last year, I still have them and decided I was going to wear them around the house when my new ones arrived.

So I got my new ones and decided to clean the garden up in my old uggs of course. However, I learned a valuable lesson - don't walk through leaf covered grass in anything other then wellies as you do not know what is under the leaves..... So my next question is this.... dare I put my old superglue dotted uggs into the washing machine to wash out the cat poo I now have on the sheepskin...... Let's face it have I got anything to lose??

I know you are laughing mookie - me and those Uggs were fated from the day I got them!!

    Sorry but :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I reckon you've got nothing to lose but just to be on the safe side make sure you use a wool detergent or something gentle like Fairy ;)

  • I just bought a pair of Ugg Boots from Yoyosilver.com. Unfortunately, they are faulty - one leg is much tighter than the other. I have been e-mailing them for 2 days and, although they state on their website that they will respond to all e-mails within 24 hours, I have not received any response. They cost me $134 US dollars (roughly £90) which is very reasonable for Uggs, but not if they are seconds!! I paid with Paypal, and just hope I can get my money back from them. They don't have a telephone number or any other way of contacting them. So I wouldn't recommend anyone buying their Uggs from this website! :(

The tall Shearling boots are back in stock at some costco store. They cost around £27 inc of vat. When I was there I compared them to the original uGs which they also had at £119 ex vat and I couldn't see any difference in quality, and my Kirkland ones from last year have worn really well. is the label really worth over £100 ?

Thanks for your help Mookie. Are the kids classic the same design/size as an adult short boot then?! I really am a beginner when it comes to Uggs and obviously don't want to disappoint the other half come Christmas day!

    Cheers

  • I want a pair of GENUINE ugg boots for xmas. Tall Classics, but torn over grey or black??? What do you think is better????? I wear boots with dresses and skirts with tights as well as jeans.
Also I am a size 4.5, I usually wear a 5 in shoes as 4s are too small and not many places do half sizes.
I tried some uggs on in a shop, a 4 & a 5. the five were roomy but ok. The 4s fitted but felt tight..... what do you think??? WIll they give? (I will be wearing socks with them so they dont smell) if I buy 4s im scared they wont give and then I will be left with too toght boots :(

Also. On www.asos.com they have 20% off brands for 1 week, this includes all names brands (uggs) tall classics usually £170, on asos now £136 x
