    Hi
I ordered a pair of short chestnut Uggs from Schuh they cost £139.99 but when they arrived the fur inside is literally like fur not woolly sheepskin I have them in tall chestnut and in tall chocolate but they are plush thick woolly sheepskin ( from ugg direct)
does this seem odd?? they have come in the original ugg box with the usual care card. am I being paranoid I don't know whether to return them or not.
    Any advice!!

That is normal; mine felt all soft and furry but they get more rough and woolly after some good old wear!!;)
  • I was in Costco Glasgow last night looking for the Kirkland sheepskin boots, they had childrens for £13.49 but no adult ones, they are due a delivery any time, it was supposed to be the other week - seemingly. They did have UGG's at £118.99 + vat = £139.81 although I think it was only US size 8 left.

    FiFi :)

Lands end uk has some ugg style boots for women (genuine sheapskin and shearling) at a bargain price of £15 down from £89, at this price though they only have the driftwood tan colour (very light colour) sizes US10/UK8 and US11/UK9

    www1.landsend.co.uk/pp/StylePage-184352_YW.html?mdiv=OSwm&cgrfnbr=1354720&CM_MERCH=IDX_1354720

The camel colour is available in all women sizes at £70.

They ship from UK so there is no custom charges, and they have excellent customer service and a no question return policy.
    Waddle you do eh?

Currency conversion rates at the moment make it quite attractive to buy directly from Australia. If you're happy to consider EMU Australia and Jumbo Ugg brands, then Puddlebeach have the Emu Hi Stinger boots for £67.04 delivered to the UK - order now for Christmas as the Australian postal service is notoriously slow.

Does anyone know how much custom charges would be coming from australia? I'm thinking of getting some Lo Emu Uggs from the above site...
Thanks to everyone that posts :T:money:

    Good point, Laura.

VAT (17.5%) is chargeable if the merchandise is over £18 in value (business to consumer) or over £36 if it is a gift (consumer to consumer). The Post Office also charges a £8 handling fee - that's if it gets stopped :D .
  • the original shoe company in manchester arndale has 'just sheepskin' boots on offer at 20% off, they had quite a few styles and colours there, i bought a pair of dark brown tall boots for £75. they're really good quality too (i already own a pair and love them so much i had to get another!). i'm not sure if this is at all stores but it's worth checking out. hope this helps someone :)
